Nimo Ali

My name is Nimo Ali and I am a 17-year-old student who is currently studying A-Level History, Sociology and Politics. I chose these topics as a way to further educate myself on society and its issues as I come from a culturally rich country, Somalia. This combined with the skills I learn in my subjects allows me to explore how overlooked Black and African history is and how they are portrayed to the general society compared to others. Moreover, thanks to my participation in Knowledge is Power, an enrichment programme in my college, I could further deepen my knowledge and also discuss and debate important topics that are usually not in the curricula.
